‘Potential Infinity’ is a freestanding piece composed of two circular sandblasted glass spines, arranged in the symbol of infinity. This project originated during my residency at North Lands Creative Glass in Lybster Scotland in 2010, where I found in the beautiful and untouched surrounding a small section of a spine and took an impression of it. Few years later- inspired and fascinated by the story of King Richard III- I created multiple spine wax casts that were formed and assembled to creat this piece. This whole process reflects on the amount of information our remains convey and transport, on the Body – Time – Place relationship and infinite connection.
